Prayer Request for My family
Jun 05, 2023 - 2 years agoEmbry continues to struggle with his pressure wounds, which are not healing. He is also very nauseous and in pain a lot of the time. He still cannot move his legs or feel anything below about his armpit level. Also, my husband was downsized from his job today. I'm really having a hard time not falling apart. I'm exhausted, I'm discouraged and my heart is broken. Stacy

Praise Report for Update on Embry. Sunday evening
May 22, 2023 - 2 years agoFox and Embry spending time together this afternoon. Embry was off the vent and on his trach collar for 3 hours this afternoon with no problems. He's back on it again now. Only his anxiety is keeping him from being on it all the time that he's awake. He's making great progress from pulmonary standpoint and will hopefully get to move to inpatient rehab this week to get more PT and OT and work toward going home.

Prayer Request for Embry, my grandson
May 19, 2023 - 2 years agoEmbry continues to struggle with a lot of nausea, anxiety and pain. They are changing up some meds and he will hopefully be able to sit in a wheelchair today and go for a ride during PT. He still has no voluntary movement in his legs or feeling below his chest area. It's been more than 8 weeks and we are all exhausted and praying for a miracle for our sweet boy. God has been faithful to bring him this far and we pray for continued healing and progress so he can finally come home. We have a long way yet to go and it's taking a toll on all of us. His twin brother will finish school early next week and that will be another issue to deal with. Thank you so so much for your prayers!

Prayer Request for Jim, Spencer, Linda
May 19, 2023 - 2 years agoJim is a friend of my son Spencer. He is an alcoholic who will likely die soon if he doesn't stop. They rarely ever talk anymore. He is incapable of working and was evicted from his rental home this week. He gets drunk on mouthwash constantly and has been living in his home without running water or electricity for several months, close to a year. My son has distanced himself bc he is unable to help Jim and the stress is overwhelming. He's been asked to help move out anything of value that Jim can sell. The landlord agreed to let them in after Spencer gets off work this evening. Prayers for protection, strength, and for Jim to go to The Rescue Mission and get help. Jim has burned all his bridges and no one is willing to enable him any more. He will be homeless and needs to go to a shelter and get in a program. He has a good heart and has accepted Jesus as his savior in his past, but is utterly lost to alcohol. Thank you for praying with me for Jim's healing and peace for my son and other friend Linda who have both tried to help him countless times and needed the strength and peace to tell him they cannot take him in.
