    Paul & Ginger went to check on Paul's brother, Brian this morning, since he hasn't been answering his phone and they found him sitting in the chair, passed away. He was only 56 years of age. Please pray for the family during this time of grieving.

    Embry had an exciting day! We got to take him OUTSIDE for the first time since he arrived at 5 am on March 23rd for surgery! He also moved to a new room again today after the walk (bc it's been 30 days), and he's gaining weight! Hallelujah! Thankful for answered prayers

    After falling from a 20 foot ladder, spending 12 days in ICU and almost dying 3 more times, my friend has stepped down from ICU!! He even made a Facebook post today.

    We were finally able to get Embry in the wheelchair again today and he took a ride all around the 7th floor. He might get to go outside in it tomorrow if the weather is OK and the smoke situation improves! He really needed this and he had a great time pranking as many people as possible

    Embry got a visit from Winnie the therapy dog again today, he pranked his nurse, Coral, and then he got to go for a short bed ride around the floor. He's been having a rough time coping with being stuck in his bed all the time and not knowing when he will be able to move his legs again, when he will get to go home, and when he will see his friends and extended family again. This is day 96. Niiiinnneeetttyyyy siiiixxx days inside the walls of this hospital. Ninety six days since he walked in here a happy, healthy, 12 year old boy the week before spring break. We missed all of spring and now he's missing summer break. He missed his spring concert (he plays xylophone), he missed Easter, Memorial Day, his fine arts trip to Holiday World, the end of the school year... and so many other things. He occasionally gets overwhelmed and will say, "I can't do this anymore." It's overwhelming as an adult who gets to go home a couple of days a week. I can't begin to imagine what is like for a child who has spent 96 days here, with a lot of pain, and a lot of questions that we still can't answer. It is heart-breaking. We're still waiting for the pressure wound to heal enough to go to inpatient rehab and to be able to go on wheelchair rides again, possibly even outside sometime. Please pray for our precious boy.

    Please keep Brandi Chapman in prayer- she was in a car wreck this morning and she needs favor with the situation with insurance and rental assistance since it was not her fault. She is very sore and is headed to the hospital to be examined
