    My very dear friend, who is also a pastor in Memphis, fell from a ladder at the church and sustained multiple broken bones and both lungs collapsed. He had surgery and is on a ventilator. But is breathing on his own. Also, his white blood cell count is elevated. And they are not sure why. So please pray for his lungs and his white blood cell count to be in normal range.
    He has a wife and young children. Some of you may remember when he came to preach here at Oak Hill.

  • Prayer Request for Update on my brother Bill

    Bill is daily getting his strength back. He was able to attend his church on Father’s Day. On July 25,he has a stem cell biopsy to determine the success of the transplant. Please agree with me there’s no longer any cancer in his blood. Thx so much, Deannie

  • Prayer Request for Sienna

    Please keep my friend Sienna in your prayers. She was visiting family in LA and was attacked by their dog. She is currently going through her second surgery. Praise God, when attacked, she automatically threw her arm up to protect her face and neck. The dog dragged her all over the house and she ended up with a broken arm, a broken leg, plus two mauled feet. Pray for her complete, and quick, recovery. Thanks! Valerie Cole

  • Prayer Request for Embry, update

    Embry got another ride in the wheelchair today and then sat a while looking out the window of his room at the rainy sky. I am thankful for and treasure these smiles. The pressure wound on his tailbone is now a level 4. It is enormous and deep with exposed bone. It is very scary and is not healing. We are thankful he can't feel it. The one on his head is smaller, but he feels the pain from that one. He also has a much smaller one on his right hip. The (big) wound itself is bad enough, but it is keeping him from going to inpatient rehab for more intensive physical therapy. We need another miracle.

    I ask continued prayers for salvation for my ex husband, Jeff, & our 3 young adult children. God brought me to Christ suddenly in 2020; they see me as crazy since then. Jeff left and they all went no contact with me in 2021. Also praying that God would direct my heart.
