  • Prayer Request for My brother, Bill Newman

    The stem cell transplant my brother had was unsuccessful leaving him with still 37% cancer cells in his blood. He has to be on maintenance chemo to prevent plasma cell tumors from developing in his bones. Agree with my siblings and I this treatment will be successful. He thanks God for blessing him for each new day. They gave him one year to live when multiple myeloma incapacitated him-it’s been a year and 1 month now. We serve a faithful Father who provided for our salvation and our healing as well by the death, burial and resurrection of His Son Jesus!

    Blood work came back good.. No peritonitis or anything like that. Still has a fever but they’re thinking it’s just some sort of virus going around. Thank you so much for the prayers. Continue to pray that the fever breaks. Becky Rorbling

    As mentioned in previous prayer request, Phyllis' brother, Tom, is in ICU at a Florida hospital and not expected to make it. Phyllis, and her two brothers from here, are on their way to Louisville and will be flying out to Florida to say their goodbyes to Tom.
    Please keep them in your prayers for safe traveling mercies, and that Tom hangs in there until they can personally see him. Continue praying for the family for comfort, peace and guidance. Praise God that Tom is a Christian and the family knows where he will be when the Lord takes him home.

    Please keep my brother Tom, his wife Sandy and the 2 children in prayer. My brother went into cardiac arrest and was found laying in his driveway today by a neighbor. He is in ICU in a hospital in Florida. Both adult children live in Indianapolis and are flying to Florida now. My brother has severe brain damage according to the CT scan. Pray God’s will be done when they make hard decisions this evening when the children arrive. My brother loves the Lord Jesus Christ.
