My brother-in-law, Bruce Bauer, fell this morning and broke his leg above the knee. He will be having surgery around noon today to repair it with a titanium rod. Please pray for pain relief, quick healing and recovery and peace for both Bruce and my sister, Joyce. Thank you.

John eon't be ok to come home til Sunday. Mon. A.M.. family will meet w/oncologist to decide to do aggressive treatment or just keep him comfortable. The blood loss is a direct result of the cancer now in his bone marrow, preventing production of healthy white/red cells. We need As many people praying as we can get. Prayer Request for John- Bro-in-law
Oct 28, 2025 - 7 months agoThey have discontinued chemo for leukemia. He was supposed to be getting hemoglobin and platelet transfusions but was too weak to go yesterday(he couldn’t stand up)…transported to ER, admitted and in ICU and was given two units of blood yesterday and another today.
They brought in a gastrointestinal specialist. They suspect there may be a blood leak in his gut. Doc in charge of this hospital stay said it was a miracle John was alive when he was brought into ER yest. His hemoglobin count was just over 3 & should be at least 13.5+.
He's losing blood almost as fast as he gets it. They're doing a cleanse tonight to tomorrow am and a procedure probably Thursday
