    I received this prayer request from my daughter Emalie:
    I’ve got a big prayer request. The SM that I have been mentoring for my program just found out her 11 year old son, Ethan, has to have a second heart transplant. He had one as a baby. He hasn’t been doing well. They went in for a bunch of testing and they checked all his arteries. Apparently one was almost fully blocked or closed and he was within days of a heart attack. They had to go in and put a stint in to get him through now, but is very sick and has to stay in patient at the hospital until they find a new heart. The scary thing is that he needs to be on blood thinner right now for his current heart to keep working properly with the stint, but if he is on blood thinners then he can’t get a transplant. Doctors are trying to work through the best possible plan, but told Veronica to be prepared for end of life. Ethan is old enough to understand so he is asking if he is going to die and is struggling which is obviously just another layer Veronica and their family are trying to work through. All the prayers for the family please. Ethan is the oldest of 3. Please lift everyone in prayer. Becky Roebling

    John is in his second month of chemo….
    From my sister this morning:
    Rough day for John… Bloodwork has been pretty good w/platelets going up, WC count is still going down & Dr thinks it might be one of the meds, but that med is the one bringing platelets up…I know God will make a way, it'd be a relief to know what it His plan is, tho' LOL

    My sister told me this morning that no surgery as of right now for Allegra's broken neck. Having another neurologist take a look at her case. Carle Hospital is trying to get a hold of the pacemaker company to allow MRI to look at vessels. They're looking at her wearing a C-collar for several months. Please continue in prayer. Pat

    My sister's mother in law fell and broke her neck in 3 places this morning. She has pain where her pacemaker is located. She was wheelchair boind prior to the fall. She is being transferred to Carle Hospital in Champaign, IL. She needs prayer for healing.
