May 10, 2024 - one year agoMy youngest sister, Katie, is in surgery for hernia repair. She has put it off for over ten years. They came and said the surgeon wants to talk to us. Apparently, there is some complication, but it's been almost an hour and he hasn't come in. Appreciate prayers for her healing and protection, and especially her relationship with God. Thanks. Well, the good news is Amy didn’t have to have a skin graft. They did a fish skin overlay. She will be spending at least one more day down in Boston. In five days they will check the dressing they did and reevaluate direction to go. She’s really having a tough time with pain but doctors are doing their best to help manage it. Grateful for all the prayer and support we have received!

Please keep Brett Ayers in prayer. He has been attending Oak Hill for a few weeks and he has asked for prayer for a heart cath procedure he is having on Monday. He is currently in the hospital and will be there while he recovers.
