Jul 18, 2024 - 9 months agoWent to orthopedic doctor today. I actually had 3 breaks in upper arm/shoulder. Sid it seems to be healing well. I have 3 weeks of therapy starting next week. Said it would probably be close to 12 weeks to be completely healed. Thanks for continued prayers. Sharon

Praise Report for Ruby
Jul 12, 2024 - 9 months agoA lot was going on yesterday, Ruby was released from the hospital yesterday, she was able to drink 2 boosts, still having trouble eating food, but they were ok with discharging if she could drink. They scheduled an upper endoscopy this morning to see what they could find if anything. She’s a little nervous, I let her know what they do, because I have had several of these procedures.
She wanted to see Inside Out 2 and I thought it would be good because it deals with anxiety, great movie.
We appreciate the prayers over the last couple of weeks, this has been bizarre but we are hopeful that through the next upcoming outpatient appointments that we can find out what has been the cause and what the resolution is. We just want to see her eat and drink again without complications or being scared. We continue to lean on God’s grace and mercy every step of the way. Appreciate our friends and family. -
Prayer Request for Ruby Meranda
Jul 11, 2024 - 9 months agoIf you could be in prayer for our daughter, Ruby, she is currently at Deaconess Gateway waiting to see the next steps. For the last week and a half had lost 12 pounds due to not eating or drinking much. She got admitted around 4AM Tuesday morning, she had already been to doctor appointments and an ER visit and an urgent care visits in North Carolina while we were out of town.
She has been seen by several doctors and nurses while here and they have been trying to find out why she hasn’t been eating or drinking these past several days. It is possible we may be released today if she can get ear or drink more and follow up with an upper endoscopy tomorrow to look at her throat. We appreciate the prayers as we try to find out how to best help her return to normal. Thanks!
